Sveltics is a static site. This page says what stays on your device, and what happens if you type an email address.
What is stored on your device
Rank, tried, and saved choices are stored in this browser’s localStorage, under keys beginning with sveltics_user_: sveltics_user_rank, sveltics_user_tried, and sveltics_user_saved. They remember which remedies you marked on this device. They are not sent to a Sveltics server. Clearing this site’s data in your browser deletes them.
The contact form does not post your message to a Sveltics server. It opens your email app with a message addressed to hello@sveltics.com. The name, email address, and message you typed are included only if you send that email. We use the address to reply.
The weekly newsletter form (the sidebar signup, and the same form opened from each remedy page) sends the email address you enter to beehiiv, which runs Sveltics' Newsletter. The form posts to https://sveltics-newsletter.beehiiv.com/create, the same address used by the publication’s public subscribe page. Sveltics does not receive or store that address on its own server. Beehiiv uses it to send the newsletter and to handle unsubscribe. Their privacy policy is at beehiiv.com/privacy.
The remedy suggestion form confirms on the page and does not transmit what you typed. We do not sell email addresses.
Fonts
Pages request their typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google to load those font files.
